Job Overview

Unit focus: IMC/MS stepdown cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery
Patient ratio: 4:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Stepdown experience within the last year
1 year of stepdown experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS - NIH Stroke Certification
Current and valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
10-year work history verification
2 former direct supervisor references
Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment, including explanations for gaps greater than 30 days

7-year criminal background check
Education verification
NURSYS verification
State license verification
Drug screen
Physical exam
TB screening or chest X-ray
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
Fit testing
Completion of required facility acknowledgments and onboarding documents prior to start

Facility Notes

Patient care orientation class is required
If no EPIC experience within the last 6 months, an EPIC class is required before receiving the schedule
All RNs must complete a unit-specific competency exam and core competency modules
A current skills checklist is required and must align with competency exams

Unit is ran by anesthesia, you will have to get anesthesia trays,,,set there area up while they complain about what you didn't do.
