Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Location: Rochester, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Start Date: May 26, 2026
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Local Candidates: Not accepted (must be more than 75 miles away)

Job Description

Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nursing
Patient Ratio: Able to manage 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio
Charting System: Epic experience required
Floating: Required
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral line care and management
Respiratory Care:
- Nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks
- Non-invasive airway management
Professional Skills: Isolation precautions

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NRP certification
TNCC certification
EFM certification
National Tech Certification Verification
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
State License 1 Verification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic charting system
