Registered Nurse – Wound Care (Travel/Contract)

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide skilled nursing care in an outpatient wound care clinic.
Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, dressing changes, patient education, and care coordination for acute and chronic wounds.
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to promote healing, patient safety, and high-quality compassionate care.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum 1 year of wound care experience, with wound care experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
