Registered Nurse – Wound Care (Travel/Contract)

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Provide skilled nursing care in an outpatient wound care clinic.
  • Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, dressing changes, patient education, and care coordination for acute and chronic wounds.
  • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to promote healing, patient safety, and high-quality compassionate care.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
  • 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
  • Minimum 1 year of wound care experience, with wound care experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system
