Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel/Contract)

Location: Kerrville, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 18:30 - 6:30)
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Unit: 20 Bed Emergency Department, Level 4 Trauma Designated

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a busy Emergency Department seeing over 34,000 patients annually.
Must be a team player, compassionate, and caring.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
