Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Brookville, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Primarily Medical Surgical unit with rotation between two units as needed
• Rotating shifts
• Work schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday
• No local candidates accepted (within 50-mile radius)
• First-time travelers are welcome

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in the specialty

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Certification (required for all RNs, must be renewed annually)

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Prior travel experience is not required
• Rotating shifts with coverage on weekends and holidays
• Photo for badge required (passport style, no filters)

This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units, who holds the appropriate Pennsylvania or Compact RN license and required certifications, and is comfortable with rotating shifts and travel assignments.
