Overview

• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Employment type: LTA
• Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday
• Floating: May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Role Summary

• Traveler may be placed on a PCU or Med/Surg/Telemetry unit based on greatest need and the traveler’s skills.
• The role accepts either Med/Surg RN or Stepdown RN experience, with the same credentialing for both.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of experience in PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Med Surg experience
• Telemetry experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Driver's License
• RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills completion
• Current RN license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• At least two professional references
• Resume or profile
• Driver’s license or state ID that is not expired and shows front and back
• Completion of the specialty exam with a passing score of at least 80%
• Completion of the core competencies exam with a passing score of at least 80%
• Completion of the EKG exam with a passing score of at least 80%
• Completion of the Epic test-out
• Completion of the skills checklist
• Completion of the education verification
• Completion of the employment verification
• Completion of the background check
• Completion of the drug screen
• Completion of the fit test
• Completion of the health statement
• Completion of the onboarding attestation and nursing contract worker onboarding requirements
• Completion of the Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules
