Job Overview

• Backfill position in the Emergency Department.
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
• The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited hospital with certifications including Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
• The hospital has 199 beds and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current certifications in:

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Compliance with New Mexico Department of Health background check procedures is mandatory.
