Job Overview

Travel RN role in an emergency department in San Antonio, Texas
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift options: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend
Call required
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Floating required as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

CEN
Meditech experience
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Unit Details

Emergency department
Procedures include conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis care, stroke care with tPA administration, and chest pain/heart alert response

Work Expectations

Must follow unit dress code and appearance policies
Must comply with floating, attendance, and acknowledgement form policies
