CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None

Facility & Unit Profile

Trauma Level III Emergency Care
190-bed community hospital with services including cardiovascular, cancer, orthopedic, women’s & children’s health, and primary care
Unit: CT Scan
Patient Population: Adult inpatient, ER, ICU
Daily Caseload: Approximately 74 patients
Equipment: GE (experience with GE Optima 660 and/or GE Revolution preferred)
Electronic Health Record: Epic
Dress Code: Grey scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Maine
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
ARRT certification
ARRT Advanced Certification
Experience in inpatient settings
Experience with GE Healthcare CT equipment, specifically GE Optima 660 and/or GE Revolution
Proficient in IV starts and contrast administration
Experience with CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest
Experience with aspirations and biopsies using CT guidance
Experience with CT angiography (CTAs)
Experience with multiplanar reconstruction techniques
