Neurodiagnostic Tech Level 1

Overview

Location: Edison, New Jersey
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 5x8 hours
Weekends and holidays as needed
On call required

Role Summary

Performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures with moderate supervision
Provides technical assistance and training to students
Completes documentation for departmental records and patient procedures
Supports the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit

Patient Population

EMU
ICU
Pediatric and adult patients

Required Qualifications

EEG Technologist experience with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
ABRET Certification (EEG)
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
Experience in an inpatient setting
Experience in an outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems
Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent
