Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Clinical Specialist / Professional
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Outpatient hospital-based experience required; candidates with acute experience will also be considered
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Job Summary

Under general supervision, evaluate, diagnose, and recommend treatment plans for communication disorders related to speech and language.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform evaluations of speech, hearing, and swallowing difficulties upon physician referral
Make preliminary diagnoses and develop treatment plans
Determine the need for individual or group therapy for each client
Document client progress
Assist students in clinical rotations to meet objectives
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Oklahoma
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
Experience in an outpatient setting
