Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients of all ages
Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as needed
Prepare patients for exams and provide procedure education and instructions as appropriate
Follow MRI safety standards and department policies and procedures
Perform MRI studies and administer contrast media using age-related technical and positioning protocols
Assist radiologists with MRI procedures as requested
Evaluate MRI images for technical quality
Operate and maintain MRI equipment and supplies, including warm-up, calibration, and safety checks
Report equipment malfunctions to a supervisor
Operate the hospital computer system
Perform assigned supervisory functions
