Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Burlingame, California.
  • Home Health assignment covering San Francisco, mainly the downtown area.
  • The traveler will work with patients with alcohol or substance abuse.
  • Territory is in a metropolitan area with a heavily populated homeless population; the traveler is not working with that population directly, but should be comfortable parking and walking in that environment.

Schedule

  • Day shift.
  • 4/10s or 5/8s.
  • 40 guaranteed hours if the required points are met.

Workload

  • Average 5–6 patients per day.
  • Minimum 26–30 points per day/week to qualify for guaranteed hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year.
  • 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience.
  • Experience in a Home Health setting.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Preferred

  • First-timers accepted.
  • Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius.

Additional Details

  • On-call is not required.
  • Mileage reimbursement follows IRS standard; Uber rides may be covered instead of mileage if preferred.
  • Dress code: scrubs, any color.
  • Charting system: Kinnser/Wellsky.
