Rehabilitation Therapist (Acute/Inpatient) - Contract

Hilo, Hawaii

Duration: 26 weeks

Job Description

Provide physical therapy evaluation and re-evaluation for assigned residents/patients.
Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists.
Provide consulting physical therapy services.
Primary coverage in acute rehabilitation; secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab.
Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed based on hospital operations.
Use of EMR system (Meditech).

Schedule

Variable shifts:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid Rehabilitation Therapist license in Hawaii.
Minimum of 1 year of Rehabilitation Therapist experience within the last year.
Experience in Acute Care, Rehabilitation, Long Term Care, and Inpatient settings.
Physical Therapist experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
Candidates should not accept the start date if they cannot arrive on time.
