Unit Details

24 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1
Common patient types include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg telemetry
Tele monitor techs are present
PCTs are present at a 12:1 ratio
Charge nurse, house supervisor, and nurse educators are available
Respiratory support on the unit includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow patients

Schedule and Work Expectations

Every other weekend required
Holidays are required
Scheduling is set by the manager; block scheduling is not guaranteed
Must work the schedule given
