Travel RN role in Asheville, North Carolina
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Unit Details

23 step down beds and 16 med surg beds
Main campus, G7
Floating may include other med surg and progressive care units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with tracheostomy care

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with Cerner

Clinical Responsibilities / Unit Experience

Trach care
Chest tubes
Wound dressing changes

Schedule

6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6-week period

Work Environment

Typical equipment includes lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, and trachs
Patient ratios: 1:3-4 in step down and 1:4-6 in med surg
