Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

Unit: Operating Room (OR) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Staff: Approximately 40 staff members
Shift Coverage: Day shift only (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
Patient Ratios: 1:1 in OR, 2:1 in PACU
Float Requirement: Must float to all surgery centers in the Denver area as needed
EMR System: Paper and SIS
Typical Procedures: Orthopedics sports medicine, General surgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Podiatry, Plastic surgery, Urology
Patient Population: Generally lower acuity with a wide variety of cases
Team: Stable with experienced staff and longevity

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Acute care experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience circulating in multiple service lines within a fast-paced environment
Pediatric experience
