Level 2 Trauma Center with 4 critical care bays
Emergency Department (ED) with a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
Chest pain center and primary stroke center with teleneurology support for stroke cases
Patient ratio approximately 1:4
Equipment includes ultrasound, bladder scanner, neuro tele computer, and handheld Care Aware devices
Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems: Omnicell, EPIC, SBAR
Non-PICU unit; pediatric intensive care patients are transferred out

Valid RN license in Maine
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
Skills:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

No travel pairs accepted
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
The area served is economically depressed with a wide range of patient diagnoses and treatments
Close proximity to outdoor recreational activities and cultural amenities in Maine
