Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Call Schedule: Every other week (one week on, one week off)
Unit and Work Environment
- Unit: Cardiology
- Number of Beds: 125
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Staffing Support: RCIS, unit secretaries, and tech availability
- Equipment: GE core equipment, specialty equipment including IABP, IMPELLA, OCT, IVUS, FFR
- Documentation Systems: Mac Lab, Meditech
- Procedures Performed:
- Invasive: Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- 24-hour STEMI facility
- Cardio Memes
- Implants: Loop Recorder, Pacemaker (PPM), Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD)
- Floating Policy: Non-invasive, Invasive, and Interventional Radiology (contract specific)
- Dress Code: Red or Black scrubs, hospital-laundered scrubs, or Blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
