Assignment Overview

  • Travel RN role in Houston, Texas
  • 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift may be either 2x12 hours plus 2x8 hours, or 24 hours plus 16 hours
  • Weekend coverage required: Saturday or Sunday each week
  • On-call duties required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • RN circulating experience in general, gynecological, genitourinary, and pediatric open and laparoscopic cases

Preferred Experience

  • Robotic experience

Unit Details

  • Operating room with 9 beds
  • Day shift staffing includes RN and CST coverage
  • Night shift is covered by on-call staff

Dress Code

  • Burgundy scrubs
  • RN color: royal blue
