Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment.

Required Qualifications

License: Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialty
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Orientation & Work Details

Orientation: 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
Scrub Color: Navy, white, or combination of navy and white for RNs
Tobacco Use: Prohibited on all campus buildings, entrances, properties, and designated parking areas

Additional Notes

Timekeeping uses a specific clock-in/out system with designated codes for various shift types and breaks
Mileage reimbursement available for travel over certain distances within the state
