Job Description

• Backfill position for an evening shift CT Technologist.

Required Qualifications

• Valid professional state license for CT Technologist in New York, including acceptance of out-of-state licensure when permitted by state executive orders.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Proof of vaccinations or titers for:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination or declination)
  • Influenza vaccine (required October 1 – March 31; declination accepted during flu season)
  • Varicella
• Tuberculosis screening within the past 12 months (One Step TB Skin Test, T-spot, or QuantiFERON).
• Annual TB questionnaire completed within the past 12 months.
• Physical and vision exam within the past 12 months, including systems check.
• Drug screening (12 panel, excluding THC) within the past 12 months.

Professional and Background Checks

• Valid driver’s license or state ID.
• 7-year criminal county search, SSN trace, and national criminal database check within 12 months prior to start date. State instant background accepted if county results are delayed.
• National and state sex offender registry checks within 30 days prior to start date.
• Completion of facility-specific forms, including professional references, employment verification, badge photo, and core competencies.
• Skills checklist, unit exam, and color vision testing as part of competency verification.
• Submission of a detailed employee bio form including full legal name, SSN, address, and date of birth.
