Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Description

  • Position: Interventional Radiology Tech (Days)
  • Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Radiology
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs (may float between like units)
  • Locals not accepted (50-mile radius rule applies)
  • Pending license not accepted
  • Call required; call-offs for scheduled shifts must be made up as necessary
  • Must be ARRT registered
  • Block scheduling may be accommodated

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT registration required

Additional Requirements & Policies

  • Return staff policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
  • Maximum of 2 contracts allowed (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning
  • Various facility-specific documents and acknowledgments must be reviewed and signed prior to start (e.g., confidentiality, patient identification, professional appearance)
  • Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional)
  • Parking registration required if driving to work
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required but documentation is accepted if available
  • Flu vaccine exemptions require approved medical or religious documentation

Scheduling & Work Conditions

  • Days, weekends, and call required
  • Call-offs must be made up as deemed necessary by the department
  • Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required
