Job Description
- Position floats between units as needed.
- Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday evenings).
- No on-call or block schedules required.
- Expected patient ratio: 7.
- May be asked to float to a nearby hospital performing the same duties if overstaffed.
- Department: Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
- Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients.
- Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for pediatric patients.
- Experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is also acceptable.
Work Environment
- Short Term Acute Care facility.
- Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Total staffed beds: 629.
- Teaching hospital.
- Charting system: Epic.
Additional Notes
- Floating policy acknowledgment required; may float to other nearby facilities.
- No on-call duties.
- Weekend work every other weekend.
- Night shift hours: 4 shifts of 10 hours each.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
