Job Opportunity: Case Manager (Registered Nurse)

Schedule
- Day shift, 5 days a week (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Weekend work required every other weekend
- Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period
Experience & Skills Required
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
- Acute Care experience
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Knowledge of NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Licensure & Certifications
- Active RN license (pending licenses accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit assignment (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, CHEMO) — verify per assignment specifics
Facility & Work Environment
- Level II Trauma Center
- Total staffed beds: 571 across campuses
- Charting system: EPIC
- Scrub color: Any except reddish orange
- Parking: Facility paid
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- Education verification required (nursing degree verification for RNs)
- State-specific background and registry checks as applicable (e.g., Washington State Patrol Search)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination documentation preferred (declinations not required)
- Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months
- Respirator medical clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel nurses
- Fit mask testing required annually for travel nurses (except sterile processing techs)
- Annual completion of required regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
- Acknowledgement of float policy (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
Notes
- Locals are not accepted for this travel assignment
- Candidate must be flexible to work across multiple hospital units and campuses
- Pending licenses are accepted, but all required documentation and background checks must be submitted at time of application
- Facility uses EPIC for charting; candidates may be required to complete EPIC training modules
