Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a procedural area supporting neuro-interventional procedures such as neuro-angiograms.
Administer procedural sedation, typically fentanyl and versed.
Patient population ranges from outpatients to critical ICU patients.
Shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:30 AM – 06:00 PM).
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1.
Expectation to work every 5th or 6th Saturday from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM as needed.
Once a week, may be required to stay past scheduled shift end to complete procedures (“Backup”).
On-call requirements: Weeknight call every 1-2 weeks (1600-0730), plus weekend call Friday 1600 through Monday 0730 twice during the 13-week assignment.
No floating outside scope of practice.
Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
Pending licenses accepted.
Return-to-Office restrictions: No more than 7 days.
Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
