PICU Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Boston, Massachusetts
  • 13-week assignment
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Locals accepted
  • Floating may be required to CICU, MSICU, and NICU as needed

Schedule

  • Night shift: 3x12, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Day shift: 3x12, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Every other weekend required, or every third weekend if minimal requested time off

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Ventilator management
  • Inotropy
  • Central line management
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • On-call is not required
