Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Jefferson, North Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Ratios: 1:1–2
• Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Labor and Delivery experience with 2 years of experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring issued by AWHONN
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Work Setting

• Manager-scheduled shifts
• Weekend coverage depends on department needs
• Floating is required to MedSurg, CNA, secretary, and/or helping hands
• LDRP unit with care for both mother and baby
• Unit may include higher-acuity, high-risk cases

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Navy blue scrubs are required
