Job Overview

  • Specialty: CT Scan Tech
  • Location: Charleston, South Carolina
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: 3x12-hour nights, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • On-call: Required, with staff rotation
  • Floating: May float within scope, including to IR, and to sister facilities
  • Start timing: End of September
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
  • CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ARRT (CT)
  • SCRQSA (CT)
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Siemens CT scanner experience

Schedule / Work Expectations

  • Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings
  • Daily caseload is 6 per hour
  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Additional Notes

  • Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • Radius rule is 60 miles
  • Pending state license is not accepted
  • RTO must be submitted at time of application
  • Parking is paid on nights and weekends
