Level I Emergency Department

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Knoxville, Tennessee
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Details

ER holding ratios are 6:1
Patients are admitted and waiting in the ED for bed availability, either in a designated area or possibly the hallway
If there are no boarded patients, the clinician may be used in an acute care area
Every other weekend and some holidays
Will float within scope to meet facility needs
Open to accommodating block schedule

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Acute Care experience
Telemetry experience
Experience with Cerner
