Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Abington, Pennsylvania
• Day shift: 4x10s, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• No floating
• On-call is optional
• Holidays are optional
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• Eligible for auto offer
• Scrubs are provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
• Ability to scrub total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic cases
• Experience in the general operating room (OR)
• Laparoscopic-assisted case experience
• Experience with code response, fire safety, latex allergy precautions, and malignant hyperthermia
• Experience with blood and blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol/time-out procedures, urinary catheterization, and wound management
• Electrosurgical unit experience
• Fiber-optic light source and cord experience
• Endoscopy experience
• Urology experience
