Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN in Aurora, Colorado
Night shift
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Unit has 36 staffed beds
Floating is required as needed, including to sister facilities

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting

MS Tele unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6, with flexibility based on staffing and unit needs
Charting system: Epic
Navy scrubs

Clinical Focus

Care for patients with surgical oncology needs
Common procedures and diagnoses involve the abdomen or pelvic area, including Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, and Stomach
Unit primarily cares for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions or care for complications
No chemotherapy or biotherapy is administered on this unit
