Overview

• Travel/contract role in Oregon City, Oregon
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating may be required based on unit needs
• Weekends are required every other or every third
• On-call is not required
• Block scheduling is not required
• 48 hours are approved
• Non-billable orientation is 0 hours

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• First-time travelers are accepted
• NURSYS verification required
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification
• EFM certification
• NIH Stroke certification
• IV certification
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
• CPI certification
• Competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
• Skills checklist for the applicable unit
• Driver's License
• Must have a vehicle for this assignment

Clinical Expectations

• Expected ratios: 1:1 labor, 3:1 postpartum

Work Environment

• Short-term acute care facility
• 109 staffed beds
• Epic charting

Additional Notes

• Travelers may be asked to float to other units and facilities to meet staffing needs
• If floating consecutive shifts, hotel lodging may be offered at additional cost
• Scrubs: any color allowed; OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child scrubs are provided
• Parking is free
