Overview

• Location: Rochester, New York
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Contract length: 15 weeks

• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
• Floating: Required within skillset
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday, if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic

Charting

• EPIC experience required

Patient Population / Unit Details

• Adult and geriatric patients
• Typical diagnoses include long-term pulmonary patients, ENT surgery, and surgical patients needing stepdown-level care
• Ratio: 1:4-5

Additional Notes

• RTO and block/special scheduling requests must be submitted with the application
• The client may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for canceled hours
