Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Salem, Oregon
13 weeks
Start date: ASAP
Night shift: 19:00–07:30, 3x12 hours
Patient ratio: 1:4–6
First-time travelers accepted
Locals accepted
Pending Oregon license accepted
Weekend requirement: every other weekend, but not GTE
Clinician will float if needed, including to West Valley Hospital
Block scheduling is not available
RTO over 2 weeks requires approval
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Client may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week assignment, 2 shifts per 8-week assignment, or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 1 year of experience
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Management of telemetry
Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
Management of dysrhythmias
Non-invasive airway management
Peripheral line care/management
Experience with Epic

Unit Details

46-bed clinical decision unit on the fifth floor of Building B
The unit is an extension of the ED and cares for patients from the Emergency Department who require observation for up to 48 hours
