Registered Nurse – PCU/MedSurg Float

Location: Honesdale, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule Details:

No block scheduling
No call requirements
Every other weekend and holiday off
ASAP start

Job Description

Float between PCU (Progressive Care Unit) and MedSurg departments
PCU ratio: 5 patients to 1 nurse
MedSurg ratio: 7 patients to 1 nurse
Each floor has 25 beds
EMR system used: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Staff is Very friendly and helpful. They provide scrubs. Easy work.

Cons

Difficulty finding a place to stay around here. They won't schedule you in blocks and you have to find someone to switch. NOTHING to do around town- everything closes at 5.
