Registered Nurse – Kidney Transplant

Location: Fairfax, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
On Call/Weekend: No on call or weekend requirements
Float Requirement: None

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a kidney transplant unit (8D).
May come into contact with COVID-19 patients.
Facility requires all travelers to have flu vaccination.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience in acute care and clinic settings.
Experience in transplant nursing.
Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
