CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Redwood Falls, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Work schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
On-call shift: 1 day per week (Sunday–Thursday: 10 hours call; Friday–Saturday: 12 hours call)
On-call hours: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Weekends: As needed
First-time travelers are accepted
Traveler’s primary residence must be at least 25 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT X-Ray certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Preferred Qualifications

Training in CT and MRI
MRI experience is a bonus

Background and Compliance Requirements

Criminal background check within 1 year, including:
- 7-year search, SS trace, counties, sex offender, nationwide
- Education verification (diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party verification)
- International background checks if candidate has lived/worked outside the US
GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required
Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprinting clearance required prior to start (candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending unless a “more time needed” letter is approved)
Candidates must complete the Minnesota DHS Net Study Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Drug testing (9-panel) within 1 year of start (not required annually)
Two professional references from recent employers within 2 years
Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates

Health and Immunization Requirements

Tdap vaccination required (no religious declinations accepted)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray per Minnesota state guidelines (2-step PPD or equivalent within 90 days of start)
Proof of immunity or vaccination for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination accepted
Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required annually (mask required if declined)

Facility-Specific Requirements

Photo for badge: grey background, no selfies, JPG format with name
Dress code: review required prior to start
Confidentiality agreement must be signed before starting
Education modules to be completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
Candidates must return badges to manager on last day of assignment

Additional Notes

Annual background checks required by the staffing agency for direct candidates
Candidates with gaps of 30+ days between contracts or expiring background checks must submit new background checks
Fingerprint clearance process includes registration, fingerprinting within 2 weeks, and completion of consent/disclosure forms
If candidate is not within driving distance of a fingerprinting location, travel to a location is required before assignment start
