Sterile Processing Tech - Colorado, Aspen

Position Overview

• Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing all instruments used in surgical procedures and patient care.
• Performs daily biological and sterile supply testing and maintains logs.
• Organizes and directs instrument needs throughout the facility.
• Assists clinical operations with endoscopy procedures as needed.
• Stocks and orders supplies for the unit as directed.
• Completes competencies based on relevant standards (AORN, AAMI, HSPA, CER).
• Works collaboratively within the department and with other departments to ensure patient safety and effective communication.
• May assist in roles beyond surgical-specific duties when needed.

Employment Details

• Contract position
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Scheduled for approximately 36-40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Sterile Processing Technician with 3 years of experience
• Experience as a Sterile Processing Technician within the last year
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER)
