Active RN license

ACLS
NIHSS
Minimum 1 year of experience

Oncology experience
ONS/ONCC certification

Schedule Details

Every other weekend
Self-scheduling, balanced to unit needs

Unit Details

Adult oncology PCU and trauma PCU patient population
18-bed unit
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 to 1:5 on days and nights
Travelers float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care

Clinical Skills / Equipment

Insulin and Cardizem drip titration
Common medications/drips include chemotherapy, heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix
High-flow respiratory support
Epic EMR
Alaris IV pumps

Orientation

2 days of unit orientation

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Pass/fail exam during orientation
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
Driver’s license required at submittal for radius verification
