Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
OBED (Obstetric/Obstetrics) experience
Ability to circulate C-sections
Ability to manage high-risk antepartum patients
Ability to manage COVID patients in labor, C-section, antepartum, and OBED settings
OB/GYN experience

Unit Experience Needed

OBED
Circulating C-sections
Managing high-risk antepartum patients
Labor experience
Managing COVID patients in labor, C-section, antepartum, and OBED settings

Preferred Experience

Advanced FM

Unit Details

Labor & Delivery / Antepartum unit
19 labor beds, 5 OBED beds, 3 PACU beds, 3 surgical beds, and 8 antepartum beds
Patient ratios: 2:1 labor, 3:1 OBED, 4:1 antepartum, 1:1 OR
Floating may include a low-risk antepartum unit

Schedule

Possible four weekend shifts per month
Mandatory 2 weekend shifts per month
No on-call

C-sections
Cerclage
BTL
D&C for postpartum hemorrhage only
