Location: Highland Hills, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: Assessment Specialist RN
• Specialty: Intake in Behavioral Health
• Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Yes
• Call Requirements: None
• Unit Profile:

  • Number of Beds: 24
  • Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
  • Patient Population: Adults ages 18-99
  • Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Detox, depression, psychosis

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Behavioral Health nursing experience of at least 2 years
• Behavioral Health experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Environment & Expectations

• Orientation held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
• Float requirements: Not specified
• Personality Fit: Compassionate about mental health, able to remain unbothered by patient comments, proactive during downtime
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs or business casual; hoodies are not allowed
