Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
Facility Type: Tertiary care and teaching facility
Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center
Level 3 NICU
Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
Documentation System: Meditech
Equipment Used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo’s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
Floating Policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Florida
Respiratory Care Practitioner with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients

Job Responsibilities

Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases
Utilize advanced technologies and medication delivery for respiratory therapy
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care

I worked in the Respiratory department. The Respiratory manager Alex was a fantastic woman. She does all the on boarding education and she’s your number one person to call for any clinical information scheduling information. She was fantastic.

They need to upgrade their RT equipment and their charting system
