Location: Lafayette, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 12 hours per day (36 hours per week)

Job Summary
Perform radiographic procedures to obtain diagnostic images according to physician specifications. Responsibilities include patient transfer for exams, operating X-Ray imaging equipment, assisting with X-ray examinations, and ensuring image quality for radiologist interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures safely and accurately.
- Operate all X-Ray imaging and related equipment appropriately.
- Educate, position, and immobilize patients for imaging procedures.
- Coordinate examinations to ensure timeliness and continuity of patient care.
- Follow provider imaging orders precisely.
- Submit images and clinical information to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Evaluate image quality and maintain communication with patients, coworkers, and leadership.
- Utilize and maintain department supplies properly.
- Practice sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies.
- Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and administer contrast agents per Radiologist protocols.
- Follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to protect patients and staff.
- Supervise and evaluate Student Radiographers in clinical settings.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Experience with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn relevant applications.
- Must wear a personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) for exposure tracking. Use of an existing badge from a previous assignment is encouraged if available.
