Overview

• Contract RN Surgery role in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
• 13-week contract.
• 40 hours per week.
• 4 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating evening/night/weekend call.

Role Details

• Registered Nurse (RN) Surgery provides nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process.
• The assignment is in the Main OR.
• The facility has 4 state-of-the-art surgical suites and a 5th surgical suite being built.
• Surgical services include Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, Peds, and Ortho/Spine Trauma.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Perioperative experience.
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year.
• OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience).
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.

Schedule / Call

• Rotating evening/night/weekend call.
• Per 8-week scheduling period, each person is generally assigned 1 call weekend and 4-5 weeknight call shifts.

Housing

• Traveler housing is available during the assignment, based on availability, at additional cost.
• Newly remodeled studio apartments and small one-bedroom apartments are available, fully furnished, with Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry.
• No pets.
• No deposit.
