Imaging X-Ray Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging) - Contract

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Operate a variety of radiographic equipment including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
Work independently without supervision.
Maintain radiation safety protocols and wear a dosimetry badge.
Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, Konica DR, and Epic EMR preferred.
Average of 3 days of call per month.
Shifts are varied with no guarantee of hours or time off.
Must arrive on the island the Thursday before the start date for employee health and HR clearance appointments.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Hawaii.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information

Must be able to attend employee health appointment on the Friday prior to the Monday start date.
No guarantee of hours or requested time off.

It’s always 4 to 1 except hallways you might only have 3. The staff is so kind and welcoming I have nothing bad to say about them. This was my favorite assignment so far
