ICU RN - Nights

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in ICU and assigned areas.
Assess patients upon admission, including medical history, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and diagnostic tests.
Participate in planning and implementing written care plans under physician direction.
May float to Progressive Care (3N) unit if needed.
Holiday and every other weekend availability required.
Navy blue scrubs required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
Balloon Pump experience

Additional Information

Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
