Job Opportunity: Break RN (Day Shift)

Work Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Summary

• Provide safe and effective nursing care independently across multiple hospital nursing departments including Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing.
• Provide break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs in these departments.
• May be assigned to any department where trained and competent.
• Care for patients of all ages (0-120 years).
• Maintain required proof of competency to ensure expected level of patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year.
• Experience in Emergency Department (ED).
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications: BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, and PALS.
• BLS certification must be from the American Heart Association.
