Registered Polysomnograph Sleep Tech

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36 hours (three 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends)

Job Description

• Perform, analyze, and coordinate diagnostic sleep studies including PSG, MSLT, and CPAP.
• Ensure accurate data collection and scoring for physician interpretation.
• Independently conduct high-quality testing and monitor/maintain equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to support optimal performance.
• Assess patient status throughout testing, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain clear communication with care teams to support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation for billing purposes.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and complete assigned projects.
• Facility may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract; cancellations are not limited to 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of polysomnographer experience within the last year.

Additional Information

• Significant requested time off (RTO) cannot be accommodated during this contract.
• All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored.
• Contract start and end dates, as well as RTO, must match exactly between agency and facility agreements.
