Overview
- Travel RN role in the Emergency Dept.
- 6-week assignment, 48 hours per week.
- No RTO or special scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Rapid Response experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- TNCC
- ENPC
Preferred Qualifications
- CPI
- Team Player
Unit Details
- Emergency Dept
- 38 head walls across 3 main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
- Staffed with 7 day/night RNs and 5 mid-shift RNs
- Equipment includes Vent, BiPAP, EKG, Art Lines, Belmont, and Chest Tubes
- EMR: Meditech

- Chest Tubes
Floating
- Brookside ED
Schedule
- 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum per 4-week schedule
- 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays

This MRI department is amazing! The nurses there are awesome! My experience there was exceptional! The patient care was outstanding!!
Cons
The pay was the only thing that was lacking. But that is what it was! No regrets about working there! Also the housing situation was not great. But that has nothing to do with the facility!
